Sunday Stroll on the Bluebell Trail

I haven’t forgotten about posting more photos of our real vacation, but today you can join us on a Sunday Stroll at Andy Guest State Park along the aptly named Bluebell trail.

Every spring the Virginia Bluebells bloom their little hearts out in our area.  I have a few that I have planted in the garden but nothing compares to what they do naturally along the river.

Bluebells as far as the eye can see.

Sometimes the trail got a little messy

But it was worth it!

When they are finished blooming they will drop their seeds and completely disappear from the landscape as if they were never there… until next spring!

So pretty. I love Virginia Bluebells. I have a couple of tiny plants. They are not nearly as lush as these.
