Hiking to Buzzard Rock

We’ve passed the parking area for this hike many times over the years but have never done the hike. Probably because the parking lot is usually full and we generally prefer paths much less traveled.

But on a quest to try something new we went this past Sunday and we aren’t sorry.

The path seems like you are traversing a dry river bed with lots of my most favorite things.

Rocks rocks and more rocks

Someone even made a rock staircase

It was a fairly easy hike as long as you made sure you watched where you were stepping. We enjoyed the day a lot. I think we’ll do this trip again.
