Well it’s been awhile since I last ‘blobbed’ hasn’t it? Life gets busy, beavers and squirrels fill your hours, days go by quickly and time gets away from you.
There have been some changes happening around The Hill!
Neighbor Mike and his lovely wife Maxie sold their place, bought a travel trailer and hit the road. We will miss them, Miss Sassy and Dixie-Doodlebug but wish them happy trails. Of course that meant that Miracle had a ‘situation’ since she couldn’t fit in the camper. Guess who is now a proud member of our Sassy Cat Hill family!
The new folks moved in a few weeks ago with 6 kids ranging from 7 years old to college age. They brought with them a whole BUNCH of critters for me to love on!!!
Meet the cast of characters (sorry, no pics of the bi-peds)…
First to arrive was the chickens, ducks, guineas, and a peacock
This is Fiech (not sure of that spelling, pronounced Fa-EEk)
Then came Julia and her baby Lola
Along with these goof balls, whose names I haven’t learned yet.
Meet the alpacas Richard, (brown) and Al, (white…maybe?)
And the sheep, not sure if they are named since they pretty much all look alike!
I love it that I get to see all of these critters right outside my back door.
Not pictured are the cats and bunnies .
Miracle is not so sure about sharing her pasture with all of these new faces, but at least she won’t be lonely!
Today marks 29 years that Mr. C and I have been married!
I certainly couldn’t have been any luckier in life. I thank God every day for him and our life here on The Hill. Happy anniversary Mr. C!!! xoxoxoxoxoxox
