Misty Morning on the New

Mr.C and I drove a few hours south this weekend to go Musky fishing on the New River.

It was a chilly, misty morning that turned into a beautiful day on the water.

Alas, no fish were caught, but at least we did get to see one and it was a monster! Definitely the biggest fresh water fish I have ever seen that wasn’t living in an aquarium… at least 4 feet in length… I’m thinking closer to 5 feet. I’m quite sure it could have swallowed one of The Sassies whole! I only wish I could have gotten a picture of it for proof.

Such beautiful photos, the peacefulness and serenity shine through…although the excitement of catching a muskie would have been welcome!
