Just Call Me TAWANDA!!!

Poor Mr C has been suffering all week with a fever. He had a doctor appt yesterday and the doctor is 99% sure it is from a tick bite that he had earlier this month.

He probably has Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Blood work should confirm this, but he has been put on antibiotics already as a precaution..

What this meant was that I had to take over deck demolition duties.

Let me rephrase that, I didn’t HAVE to, the builders would have done it but being the ‘frugal’ person that I am, I wanted to save that extra expense. So I got out there in the record-breaking heat wave and got-r-done!

Moved the plants, moved the rocks, moved the garden soil, and tore down the deck!

The wood will all be reused in the future too.

I’m pretty proud of myself thankyouveddymuch!

Tux and Nellie aren’t very happy with the whole situation!

Still have a bit more to do, but I kept us on schedule!

Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Especially if you are a Kolar! Mr. C, hope you are already feeling better. We have yet another reason to be disgusted by those creatures, what purpose do they serve on this earth?

This looks all too familiar, we tore off the deck in August last year, 103 degreesm started at 5am worked till 9pm and then agai9n on Sunday, thought it would never get done…. Totally
    worth the work..
