Honor Flights

Mr. C. and I made a trip into D.C. yesterday.

We went to meet up with his Uncle Harry and cousin Jim who flew in from Michigan on an Honor Flight sponsored by Ford Motor Co.

Uncle Harry served in the Army Air Corps, on a B-17 during WWII.

It was a short visit but well worth it. Many busses filled with Veterans from different Honor Flights were greeted by cheering crowds waving flags and thanking them for their service as they passed through the isle way they created.

It brought tears to my eyes to watch these proud men and women from many different wars being honored for their service to our country.

Many thanks to all of you wonderful folks who have fought for us!

Had to snap this shot of Mr.C.

And on the way home I introduced Mr.C. to my new favorite place… Sweet Frog!

Mr.C had chocolate and cappuccino with chocolate sauce and assorted candy toppings

He liked it!

I had key lime and mango and coconut yogurt with chopped mango and pineapple and kiwi with raspberry sauce and granola.

Oh my!!!

I posted about The Frog today too! I’m jealous!
I went to a yogurt place called Swilrlberry up here with Suzie. It was not nearly as good!
