Is It Really Only March?

Again I feel the need to mention this strange weather! Seriously, temps could be near 80 in the next couple of days , and it’s been in the 70s for the past few! I just hope we don’t get another hard freeze since the garden is coming alive.

There is a new resident here on The Hill,

Mr.C. named him A.C. after his Granddad

He was turned into the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center and I offered to take him.

He’s possibly blind in one eye and poor feather condition.

Today I think I’ll get some lettuce and spinach seed started right in the garden.

    We have crocuses (croci ??) and the greenery of the tulips, daffodils, hyacinths are sprouting through the dirt. It won’t be long, I hope!
    That pheasant is beautiful — he has his spring colors on, too.
