First of all, let’s send a big old HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish to my big sister and newest Capri, Lauren way out there in Idaho!
Last weekend we were up in the Mitten for a quick visit and we got to head home in about 10 or so inches of snow… fun! Actually, the roads were fine once we got onto the turnpike so it wasn’t bad at all.
While we were up there things were pretty crazy here on The Hill. High winds took their toll .
My potting area was a disaster… but it usually is, so I hardly noticed until I saw the umbrella! lol
Certainly thankful that this tree didn’t do any damage to the chicken coops!
(I’m sure the neighbors will be VERY thankful when we take down those ugly blue tarps! Gotta keep my girls warm ya know!)
The greenhouse held up pretty well. The doors got blown open and one panel was blown out.
Thankfully neighbor Mike noticed and took care of it for us! Munky was smart and decided to stay put inside even though she could have made a break for it!
The shed lost a few shingles which Mr.C will replace today. (He’s an excellent shingler!)
The hot tub cover is done
Since it’s going to be a beautiful day today, in the upper 60’s, we’ll get out there and start doing some clean up!
The thing I’m most thankful for is that we weren’t affected by the nearby wild fires while we were gone and that no one was injured or killed in them. Thank you local fire fighters!
Happy Sunday Y’all!
