What a beautiful day it was on The Hill today!

We did a little bit of this and a little bit of that and managed to get quite a bit done.

The Crazy Dog People have gone away for the weekend so we went down and checked on their chickens and the duck-dogs.

Look at these cool polish hens they have…

Wally and Stella were clearly having fun in the mud before we came!

Mr C. likes to sit in the garage and listen to the Lions games on the satellite radio in my car. (I’m not sure why he bothers)

Tux likes to sit and listen too

We cleaned up a few leaves and burned them… just enough to bring back the nostalgia of burning leaves in the streets of Detroit when we were kids… ahh that wonderful smell!

    That was loverly!

Mr. C., I have to say that sitting out in the garage listening to the game has an oddly 1950s, Mr. Cunningham, ring to it! Minus the satellite radio. Of course.

What are the stickers on your rear window?

Thanks for the “burning leaves” thoughts. Autumn is my favorite time of year and memories of sharing the fun of leaf cleanup with the neighbors, the smell of the fires, maybe even a baked potato thrown in there — all wonderful!
