Sunday Stroll 8/15/2010

Mr. C. and I had planned on spending the entire morning out fishing on the river, but we had no sooner gotten out there and thrown our first casts when it started to drizzle. We stuck it out for a couple of hours since it wasn’t a hard rain, but the fish weren’t biting so we headed home.

( I caught 2 small bluegill and Mr. C. caught… nada )

Took a stroll around The Hill this morning while listening to Baby Julio crow… he’s a FINE crower!

These morning glories are growing on the side of that coop…

It’s a bit too early for them to be blooming, I hope that doesn’t mean an early winter is coming!

Inside of Paddy’s enclosure we discovered that she had planted a cantaloupe and quite a few tomatoes  to remind us of her.

Since we got rained off the river, Mr.C. decided to work on this old snow blower he brought home from his Dad’s. He replaced the carburetor and got it going. No more shoveling that long driveway for me!

Sunday stroll Aug 15 2010 001 He’s my star!

Happy Sunday Y’all!
