The Goose Is Loose

It was very apparent that ‘Angel’ was lonely here on The Hill. I tried in vain to find him another goose friend but they just aren’t readily found I guess.
So when Lucy, the domestic goose that I released at Chesley a couple of years ago, showed back up after being gone for a couple of weeks I decided it would be better for Angel to go and live there with her and a few resident Canadians. The introductions went very well and Angel’s happiness was evident!

Mr.C and I spent the entire day out at Chesley cutting back the ornamental grasses. When we went to the Hart Cemetary to cut back the grasses there, I found the Helleborus (Lenten Rose) in full, glorious bloom…

We will head back out to Chesley today to finish the job.
Oh my aching back!

Angel looks happy in his (its) new home. May he (it) live long and prosper!!! Does Cam get paid for all his hard work at the estate??? If not, you’d better make his favorite meal.
